Very simplistic way to edit exif date and location data.

Fast and efficient!

Photinfo is hands down, the best metadata viewer on the AppStore. Im excited about the added extension which is cleanly displayed. I used Investigator before this one, however, with investigator, you can view advanced Exif from the extension, which is quite nice. Photinfo doesnt display enough Exif data, so Im forced to keep Investigator around. Another thing is the grid view within the app squishes the photo. It was better as square thumbnails.

You can edit the date of a picture put only within the year of the original date. There is no way to change the year!

Great idea and great app! One tap - and you can now all basic metadata of your photo from the standard "Photos" app. Exactly what i needed. Highly recommend.

this is by far the best implementation of access to EXIF data for iOS. smoothly integrated as a share sheet icon that looks and feels like an Apple product with no problems. a well thought out and executed app.

Since iPhoto is gone, this App helps get me my pictures Data. Love It !!!!

This app is simple and does exactly what you need, if you want to look at meta data of your photo. You can easily access address, coordinates, time etc and copy it. PhotoInfo is accessible directly through the photo album menu, so you dont have to switch apps. Would be great to show coordinates in decimal degrees or at least have the option to switch. Whether you want to just see your EXIF data, remove data before posting a photo publicly, change incorrect data, or add a caption - this can get it done! Very helpful!

Its amazing how much information is included in EXIF data. With that in mind, its important to me to be able to find and read the data. Ive enjoyed using PhotInfo while I hone my photo skills with my new DSLR. It makes it easy to see the values that I use most often. Most EXIF-reading apps seem to be built by developers who use Excel. Photinfo looks and feels like it was developed by a photographer. All the data is well organized and easy to read. Most of the time, Im browsing my photos in the Photos app, and Ill see a detail (motion blur, blown details, dark exposure) and Ill wonder what I did, and what I can do to correct it in the future. Its great that I can use PhotInfo to see that information without leaving the Photos app. PhotInfo makes working with my photos so much more smoother and more informative and its helped me become a better photographer. If you are aware of the existence of EXIF data, you want this app.

I love that this app lets me get exif data from inside other apps! Just use the Share button and find PhotInfo as an option. The screen layout of info with picture is just what I wanted to see, additional details also available.

Id like to see an option to custom which informations to show in the extension view. Focal length in 35mm film and subject distance are helpful information to me but I have to open the app and then navigate to Tags view to see them, its a little inconvenient since the extension view should provide this feature. BTW information of some lens wont show in the app. Even though, its still the best exif viewer in the App Store with iOS 8 extension.

This is the best app I have found for viewing photo GPS and EXIF data.

I rarely write reviews, but this app was so easy to use, so comprehensive, I had to. I searched the App Store trying to find something that actually allowed me to change both EXIF dates and location. This is the best EXIF app, free or otherwise. Props.

This app delivers complete Camera Roll photo data. Easy to use.

Photographer here-- This is a fantastic app: Works as promised. Fast lightweight solution to a common problem. Being able to quickly see the metadata (in the native photos app) without having to open a new app, is invaluable. So happy someone is working on this. There is some slight room for improvement: Id love the ability to re-write metadata without having to save a whole new photo. When dealing with many images, this becomes cumbersome. Beside this though, no complaints.

Im using this app constantly to view Shot information. I like that it appears in the share sheet in Photos as well as opening the app then going to images in Photos. Looks good on iPhone and iPad displays.
